Waiter/Waitress

Objective

Contributing to the welcoming service in our restaurant by warmly greeting guests, informing them about the dishes and wines, and ensuring their satisfaction so that they will want to return again and again.

Daily tasks

• Welcoming guests and guiding them to their table.
• Taking orders and entering them into the Lightspeed system.
• Advising guests on the menu and noting any dietary preferences or allergies.
• Serving food and drinks to guests.
• Printing bills and processing payments.
• Cleaning and resetting tables.
• Adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
• Restocking inventory and supplies.

Teamwork and collaboration

• Collaborating with the F&B team to ensure a hospitable service.

Qualifications and skills

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
• Communication skills: Clearly and kindly communicating with guests and colleagues. Proficiency in English is important.
• Hospitable: Putting guests at ease and responding to their wishes and needs.
• Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as taking orders while serving other tables.
• Stress resilience: Maintaining calm and working efficiently during busy periods.

Working conditions

• Shift between 06:00 – 00:30 (depending on a morning or evening shift).
• Working in the hospitality sector with a dynamic, international and lively atmosphere.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and sometimes carry heavy trays or objects.
• Indoor environment, dynamic and sometimes busy atmosphere.
