Objective
The role of the Breakfast Chef is to ensure that our guests at Brasserie Ambassade enjoy a perfect start to their day during the breakfast service (daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM). You are responsible for the kitchen setup and the preparation of hot dishes, which are cooked à la minute and served fresh to our guests by our enthusiastic team of servers. After breakfast, you ensure that the mise en place is prepared correctly for the next day. Additionally, you review the incoming orders with the kitchen coordinator and store them in an organized manner. In the afternoon, you assist with the lunch service or with preparing the mise en place for the evening.
Teamwork and collaboration
In your role as a Breakfast and Lunch Chef, you will primarily work closely with the breakfast and lunch service team, the dishwasher, and the kitchen coordinator. You report directly to the kitchen coordinator and are responsible for overseeing the duties of the dishwasher. We expect a respectful and professional collaboration with the service team, ensuring that everyone works together harmoniously to deliver dishes of the highest quality to our guests.
